Our Story A Concrete Floor Coating Company Built on Inspector-Level Prep
Slab Lab Coatings was founded by Josh Moberg, a former coating inspector, and started out as EnduraCrete Coatings. That inspection work turned up the same failures over and over: peeling, delamination, bubbling and moisture problems. Most of them traced back to the install: poor prep, skipped moisture checks or the wrong product for the slab.
So every slab we coat is diamond ground and checked for moisture, with cracks and pits repaired first. Those are the prep standards a coating inspector checks for. Coating makers' data sheets typically ask for the same things: solid concrete, the right surface texture and moisture within limits. We are a Minnesota company, and our systems are chosen for road salt, snow melt, humidity and freeze-thaw cycles.
From our Otsego base, we work for homeowners and businesses across the Twin Cities metro. At home, that means garage floor coatings first, then basements, porches, patios and pool decks. For businesses, it means commercial and industrial floor coatings for shops, warehouses, retail stores, offices and showrooms. We also polish concrete, and as an authorized Rubber Stone dealer, we install rubber surfacing over driveways and walkways.
A coating job starts with a free on-site estimate to look at the slab and talk through systems and colors. Most garages are coated in one day, and the polyaspartic topcoat hardens in 6 to 8 hours. Call or text (612) 702-9724 to set up your estimate.
